Workplace Yoga
I´m not a fan of putting the word “corporate” and “yoga” in the same sentence, so let´s go with workplace yoga instead 👍 That is my goal, and my intention - to bring yoga and mindfulness into the places people work, to help them do their best work!
What brings you here?
Work-Life Balance
Give your colleagues, team and/or your employees the gift of calm, presence and time for themselves (and each other).
Fun
Because what can be more fun than trying to get your whole team into crow pose or some other funky arm balance!
Team-Building
Did you know that the word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit, “yuj”, as in “to bring together”, "unite” or “connect”?
Whatever it is, the way you bring your team together can make all the difference.
I left the corporate world to teach yoga full-time. But life has a funny way of bringing us back full circle. So here I am, putting on my business hat and yoga pants, making a novel sort of proposal. How about, for your next gathering, you give yoga a try. After all, who best to lead your team through a well-balanced, fun and mindful practice than someone who has been there before.
Prior to teaching yoga full-time, I was a Digital Marketing Consultant and Web Project Manager, who has worked for/with international companies and brands like Tim Wendelboe (Specialty Coffee Icon), Olivenlunden 1830 (part of the LÓccitane group), and Magnus Carlsen (World Chess Champion) in Norway, as well as Pizza Express, Nando´s and The BodyHoliday in Hong Kong, London and St Lucia (in the Caribbean).
I co-founded a travel start-up that was written about in the NY Times, CBS News and The Times newspaper. I designed and launched my own line of yoga straps. (Dharma Straps) and was an Account Manager for hospitality brands back during my agency days. In short, I have worked at and been exposed to all sorts of workplaces around the world and can bring a truly fresh and global perspective not just to yoga but to your people, your team.
